"Sew-rage"

Films: Septic Man (2013)

Alias: Jack

Type: Mutant

Location: Underground/Lake

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The working class just cannot catch a break. Whether they get crap pay or get sent to do dangerous deeds, it seems they always get the short end of the stick. But this callous waste of life has consequences for those who perpetrate it. And both parties suffer...

History: Jack was an everyday "septic man" with a wife and kid on the way. But his town is suffering water contamination, and he has to investigate. Then he gets trapped underground with no one willing to pull him out. He's trapped for real by a couple of psychos who want him gone. Driven to madness by the isolation and lack of food, Jack finds he's mutating due to all the contaminated sewage, and he slowly devolves into a monster.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After killing his captors, Jack's wife decides he's too far gone into his mutation, and floods the sewers to kill him. However, all that did was give Jack a means of getting out and into the wilderness. What he'll do next, none can say...

Powers/Abilities: Due to overexposure, the Septic Man is impervious to toxic chemicals.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Jack's deteriorating mind and body isn’t in the least bit fun to watch. The growths and malformations on his head are particularly unsightly. This is what happens when you disregard the safety of your workers, folks.

Trivia: -Jack's actor, Jason David Brown, won the horror category award for Best Actor that year in the Austin Fantastic Fest that this film premiered in.

-Sewage is actually quite dangerous, mainly due to the waste containing E.coli and the fact that literally any chemical could be dumped in there at any given moment. Mutation is not something likely to happen, just sickness and death.

But somebody's got to do it. Even if it results in horrific mutation.
"Got any TP?"
